This enjoyable class provides mental stimulation for your dog while teaching a variety of tricks in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Teaching tricks is a great way to enhance your relationship with your dog and to improve overall obedience, while having a blast! The only catch, your dog must have complete the Complete Puppy Course or Courteous Canine to join in the fun.

The list of possibilities is endless: shake, high-five, spin, take a bow, sit pretty, wave, hide your eyes, put your toys away, fetch, find it, turn on/off the light, etc. (or if you have a special trick or skill you would like to teach your dog, we will help you do it).

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS

Proof of rabies vaccine and up-to-date DHLPP/DHPP are required. We strongly prefer proof of vaccines on paper (with vaccine date mentioned) versus the rabies tag on collar.

Have your dog wear a flat, buckle/snap collar, with a 6' leash. “Flexi” retractable leashes are not appropriate for class. No noose or collars that tighten please. Harnesses are allowed in classes for walking exercises, but please also bring a flat collar.

Don’t feed your dog right before class. Instead, bring their kibble to class in a ziploc bag for use as lures and rewards while training. Also bring a few extra-tasty treats to reward your pup for their best performances. Make sure your treats are in small, bite-sized pieces that won’t fill your pup up or take long for them to eat.

We require at least one adult per enrolled puppy. We encourage the whole family attend the class together but if children are three years or younger, a second adult must be present.
