At SIRIUS Puppy & Dog Training we value your puppy’s development and YOUR health equally. For that reason we have made the decision to move exclusively to an online classroom format through Spring of 2021.

Please note that we are a California-based company, and all classes are listed in Pacific Standard Time.

Which Class SHOULD I Start With?

These age ranges apply to your pup's age on the first day of the class.
For more information, and to see available classes, click on any of the class names below.

For dogs 8-12 weeks old:
Puppy Kindergarten
Entry-Level Class. $160 for 4 Weekly Sessions of 50-minutes each. 2-6 Students.

For dogs 12-18 weeks old:
Puppy Training I
Entry-Level Class. $200 for 5 Weekly Sessions of 50-minutes each. 2-6 Students.

The earlier you start your classes the better. We strongly encourage you to take both Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Training I, if at all possible. It's fine if your Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Training I class overlap.

Puppy Training II is only available to students who have completed Puppy Training I

Description Requirements

Puppy Kindergarten (Online)

Have a puppy? Start here! Learn how to handle the most urgent puppy training issues, including safe socialization with people, puppy biting, house training, and chewing - all of which should be addressed during your puppy's first three months of life.

More$160 for 4 weekly sessions (50-minutes each)

Age: On the start date of the class, pups must be between 8-12 weeks old.

This Live Online class will be conducted using Zoom and will require a high-speed internet connection and a computer or mobile device.

Puppy Training I (Online)

Start your pup off on their journey to become a well mannered dog! Puppy Training I provides early education, introduced in a fun and family friendly way.

MoreRegistration Fee: $200 for 5 sessions

Age: On the start date of class, pups must be between 12-18 weeks old.

There is no prerequisite for this class, however Puppy Kindergarten is strongly recommended as a starting point for puppies under 12 weeks of age. 

If your dog is older than 18 weeks old and has not completed Puppy Training I, Basic Manners Foundations is the age-appropriate class.

Puppy Training II (Online)

Refine the skills you learned in Puppy Training I and learn how to teach your young adolescent pup to be calm, attentive and to respond quickly, willingly and happily, especially when distracted, off-leash, and at a distance. Prerequisite: Puppy Training I

MoreRegistration Fee: $200 for 5 sessions

Pre-requisite: Must have completed a SIRIUS Puppy Training I within the last 4 months.

Age: Under 8 months old.

If your dog is older than 18 weeks old and has not completed Puppy Training I, please start with Basic Manners Foundations.

Puppy Training III (Online)

Advanced class to perfect existing behaviors or learning challenging new skills! Prerequisite: Puppy Training II

MoreRegistration Fee: $200 for 5 sessions

Pre-requisite: Puppies must have completed Puppy I and Puppy II.

Age: Under 18 months

* We require a minimum of 4 dogs for any class to run.
