Raven Meza

Raven began training dogs in 2022 with her own Terrier–Chihuahua mix, Weasel. Shortly after, she began working at a newly opened dog daycare, where she gained daily hands-on experience handling dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and play styles. This environment sparked a deeper interest in dog behavior and training and set her on the path toward becoming a professional trainer.

In 2024, she enrolled in CATCH Canine Trainers Academy to pursue formal training education. She then began volunteering with Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV), where she continued developing her training and behavior skills while working with shelter dogs.

Her passion for dogs expanded when she acquired her Beauceron in 2024, which introduced her to the world of dog sports and conformation. Through involvement in clubs, workshops, dog shows, and training seminars throughout the Bay Area, she has continued to deepen her understanding of canine learning and behavior.

In addition to formal education and mentorship, she has spent extensive time shadowing trainers, veterinarians, and behavior professionals, gaining a broad perspective on how dogs learn and respond to their environments.

She currently shares her life with a Belgian Malinois, who began as her eighth foster puppy—and ultimately became her first “foster fail.” Working with a high-drive, challenging dog has further strengthened her training skills and reinforced her commitment to helping dogs and their owners succeed together.
